Rally Form to JDataPanel
Conversion Demo
To preview your Rally Form below please execute the following instructions:
- In your Open VMS environment open your Rally application for edit:
RALLY EDIT YOUR_APPLICATION_NAME

In the Main menu chose 4 ( Utilities ).

In the Utilities menu chose 1 ( Report ).

In the "NAME OF TEXT FILE" field enter the name of the report file
( the file will be saved in your default folder ).

In the "TYPE OF REPORT" field choose "ONE OBJECT".

In the "TYPE OF OBJECT" field choose "FORM/REPORT".

In the "NAME OF OBJECT" field enter the form name to be previewed.

In the "LEVEL OF DETAIL" field choose "FULL".

Leave the "SHOW CROSS REFERENCES" field blank.

Leave the "INCLUDE RELATED OBJECTS" field blank.

Use your FTP client ( or any other available client ) to copy
the file from your VMS environment to your browser environment.
Make sure that the file was transferred in text mode.

Copy and paste the file contents to the text area below.

Press one of the tab headers "JDP XML-Definition", "Java Class" or "Preview".

To try an example Rally Form, please click on the "Example Form" button.
Take into account that the resulting JDataPanel (a target object, to which your Rally Form
is converted) is working out of your application's environment and therefore is not fully functional.
